Bill Maughan was Reader in Law & Economics, School of Finance & Law, and a founder member of CIPPM. He worked extensively on the economic analysis of law, including trade mark litigation, trade secrets and sports rights. He was a consultant to the New Zealand Commerce Commission and responded to the UK Law Commission's consultation paper on Director's Duties (Company Lawyer vols. 20 (1999) & 21 (2000), with S. Copp). Bill's last paper "Property and Intellectual Property: Foundations in Law and Economics" (2001) is published on this web site. |
