• Trade Mark Trial Judge at the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO)
• Master of International Relation from the National Defense University in Seoul
• Bachelor’s degree in business management from Hanyang University

Mr Cho has worked at KIPO since 1996, as Director of the Intellectual Property Protection Division, a Director of the Patent Tribunal Administration Division and a Director of IP Education Division. At CIPPM, Un Young Cho is working on a project on the concept of similarity in trade mark law.
