Dr. Phil Clare is Associate Director for Research Services at Oxford University and was a founder member of CIPPM when he was at BU.
His areas of responsibility include IP rights management, research contracts, European funding, training and relationships with external organisations.
He is Chair-Elect of Unico and a Praxis Board member. He served on the committee of ARMA, the Association of Research Managers and Administrators, for six years. A long time ago he used to be a Chemist.
Previously he has worked at the Universities of Bath and Bournemouth, and UKRO in Brussels. In his spare time he is a director of Fluvial Innovations Ltd.
